Four Seasons Farm Pantry Store Manager

Four Seasons Farm Pantry is a commercial kitchen and retail shop in North Andover. FSFP serves hot and iced tea and baked goods, and sells jams, herbs, spices, and tea. We offer classes and workshops and feature seasonal products, such as cut flowers and potted herb and flower plants. FSFP is home to Doves and Figs and Soluna Garden Farm.

We are adding a new position of store manager to our Four Seasons Farm Pantry team. This is a year-round, long-term position, which would focus on managing the retail store, community engagement initiatives, and our program of educational workshops. As part of our management team, you will play a meaningful role in the growth and success of Four Seasons Farm Pantry


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the retail store, including coordination of activities for part-time staff.
  • Engage with customers in a helpful and informative way to educate them about the products in the store.
  • Prepare samples and serve hot and iced tea and baked treats.
  • Manage seasonal store décor and merchandising to highlight the products and create an inviting shopping atmosphere.
  • Coordinate logistics for educational workshops.
  • Maintain administrative records related to the store and to the commercial kitchen.
  • Track and receive deliveries.
  • Attend occasional local events to represent Four Seasons Farm Pantry and sample and sell products.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Customer-facing retail sales experience.
  • Interest in or experience with small businesses, especially those focused on local food and local agriculture.
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a group; comfortable working alone
  • Ability to take initiative and make well-thought-out independent decisions. When you see something that needs to get done, you take responsibility for ensuring that it gets done.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience, with the possibility for increases and other incentives after six months.
